Pectoralis Major

Gross anatomy of pectoralis major muscle

Basics

The chest muscles are two large, fan-shaped muscles that attach the center of the ribcage to the middle of each upper arm bone. When one of them activates, it will pulls the arm from the side closer to mid-section of the body (similar to clapping your hands with straight elbows).

In this video, I'll cover the basic information about the chest muscle, it's form and function, the best exercises to train the chest, some of the most common injuries, and more.
